My first BIKE POLO contest

Domenica scorsa ho raggiunto il gruppo bergamasco di BIKE POLO a Milano. 
Il Leoncavallo si prestava splendidamente come sede del torneo. Per me è stato il primo torneo di bike polo. Da spettatrice chiaramente.
La mia attenzione è stata catturata da ogni cosa era intorno a me.


Last Sunday I reached the Bergamo BIKE POLO team in Milan.
The Leoncavallo was the perfect location for the tournament. For me it was the first bike polo contest. Like a spectator clearly.
Of course my attention was captured by everything was around me.

That industrial

Adoro l'estetica industriale.

Sembra un controsenso perché spesso mi circondo di cose totalmente naturali e soffici, ma subisco il fascino della geometria pulita e delle linee spesso ortogonali.

Inutile dire che il periodo storico in cui è avvenuto l'ingresso nella vita quotidiana dei prodotti industriali/funzionali è uno dei miei preferiti.

Sembra che la presenza statica dei volumi industriali abbia un suo perché. E a me piace!

I love the industrial aesthetic.
It seems a contradiction because often I surround myself with totally natural and soft things, but I undergo the geometry and clean orthogonal lines charm.

Needless to say that the historical period in which It was the entry of industrial/functional products, It's my favorite one.

It seems that the static presence of industrial volumes has a reason. And I like it!

Marinella Confezioni

Sabato scorso abbiamo realizzato un photo shooting per la collezione estiva di Marinella.
Come contesto è stata scelta una distilleria nel paese di Mapello. 
Il posto era a dir poco affascinante...con un odore delirante.
Dopo quasi 7 ore di lavoro, ci siamo portati a casa un buon risultato.
Merito soprattutto del fotografo Simone Casati e degli abiti Marinella Confezioni.
Il suo stile è inconfondibile soprattutto per quanto riguarda i materiali usati (solo tessuti naturali soprattutto lino e cotone) e le forme. Il design degli abiti è la vera caratteristica distintiva di Marinella; un suo abito non ha un unico modo per poter essere indossato ed è pensato per valorizzare ogni tipo di corpo.

Last Saturday we made a photo shooting for the Marinella summer collection.
The set was a distillery in the country of Mapello.
The place was nothing short of fascinating ... with a delirious smell.
After nearly 7 hours of work, we reach a good result.
The merit goes to the photographer Simone Casati and the stylist Marinella.
Hers style is unique especially regards the materials used (only natural fabrics like linen and cotton) and forms. The clothes design is the true hallmark of Marinella, hers suit has no single way to be worn and are designed to valorize every body type.

Say Muffins!

Qualche giorno fa ho cucinato i Muffins!

Direi che come primo esperimento è andato benissimo! Erano squisiti, morbidi e saporiti al punto giusto.

Per iniziare ho cucinato l'impasto base a cui ho aggiunto cioccolato, semi di papavero e uvetta.

Non ho voluto fare glasse o creme perché come primo tentativo mi sembrava già abbastanza.

Per cucinarli mi sono basata sulla ricetta americana che trovate a fine pagina.

A few days ago I cooked muffins!
It was the first experiment and I think It was great! They were delicious, soft and tasty at the right point.
To get started I cooked the basic body and then I added chocolate, poppy seeds and raisins.
I did not want to make icing or creams to add because as a first attempt it seemed enough to me.
To cook I based on the American recipe that you find at the bottom of the page.

INGREDIENTI / INGREDIENTS

210 g di burro / butter

200 g di zucchero / sugar

2 uova / eggs

150 ml di latte / milk

350 g di farina / flour

50 g di fecola / starch

1 bustina di vanillina / sachet vanilla

1 bustina di lievito / sachet yeast

In una ciotola zucchero + vanillina + burro ammorbidito, unire piano le uova sempre mescolando.

In a bowl sugar + vanilla + soft butter, add slowly eggs and stir constantly

In un'altra ciotola farina + lievito + fecola setacciati.

In another bowl sieved flour + yeast and starch 

Versare il composto della ciotola con la farina in quella con le uova.  Mescolare continuamente unendo il latte.

Put the firs mixture in the second bowl. Stir constantly and add the milk.

Riempire per metà i pirottini, se usate quelli di alluminio dovete imburrarli prima.

Fill half containers, if they are aluminum ones you must to put butter before.

20 minuti in forno pre-riscaldato a 180° C.

20 minutes in pre-heated oven at 180° C.
